Jesus we bless you and thank you for giving yourself up for us. We thank you for conquering death, and setting us free to live redeemed for you. We boast only in your death and resurrection, and remember your passion. Lord on this day we remember those who came home to you, and all who suffered on 9/11. Father open our eyes to see suffering, and hold us obedient to act. Send your spirit to give us wisdom and words in those moments. Father we open up the depths of our hearts and invite you to work in us, refine us. Purify us and wash us with your word, that we might become more like you.

We give you thanks for every breath you give us, and every day that you make. Thank you for the promise of life, not just this temporary one. We bow down at your feet and give you praise, for you have given us what we don't deserve.

Father draw near to the people of Costa Rica, as they are faced with the pain of an earthquake. Help them rebuild, give them hope for tomorrow. We know that you work through all things for the good of those who love you. Lord we thank you that you are unchanging, and are constant love every day.

We pray your blessing on Michael Strahan. Lord we ask that you use his new platform to bring joy to many hearts. We know you are alive and at work, and you care about our day to day lives. You know how many hairs are on our heads. Father we pray you would work in Michael, reveal yourself to him in a new way. Lift up his eyes to see your will, and fill his days with praise of your goodness. Show Michael how he can worship you. Send your strong waring angels to guard and protect him and his loved ones. Build a hedge around them, and surround them with your favor like a shield.

God you are majesty and your faithfulness is greater than mountains. We thank you for your goodness and grace toward us when we were yet sinners.
